Bennigan's Over -- Michigan & Adams on Day of Closing > Hiring at Bar Louie

I know I'm a little late to the game on this one, but on the day that Bennigan's went bankrupt and abruptly closed, I went to the one on Michigan Avenue, 150 S. Michigan Ave., and took some shots.

Among the "SORRY WE ARE CLOSED signs was a scrappy indicator of economic life, and proof that our hearts will go on -- a note that read as follows:

Attn Bennigan's Staff
Bar Louie Dearborn
(47 W Polk St)
Is hiring all positions!!
Come on over + see us
Managers, too!

God bless us all.

Every highway sign has to be shipped from the place of fabrication to the place where it will live for decades. We nearly never see that rolling moment. Here it is for one.
